2018 | Taught documentary film directing in the graduate film school of New York University's Tisch school.

1997-2002 | Taught core academic writing and literature survey courses at Columbia College and at Columbia University’s School of General Studies.

1999-2001 | Taught classes in post-colonial theory and the birth of imperialism in the Renaissance at the Cooper Union.
